I am a post-secondary leader, educator, and Medical Laboratory Technologist with more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, health professions education, and curriculum development. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science and a Master of Education in Health Sciences Education from the University of Alberta, combining clinical expertise with a deep understanding of teaching, learning, and curriculum design.
Throughout my career, I have maintained an active connection to the medical laboratory profession while contributing to the advancement of health sciences education. I have led initiatives that support program development, curriculum renewal, academic quality assurance, and continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of programs. I work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and industry partners to create industry-responsive learning experiences that prepare graduates for success in an evolving workforce.
I am particularly passionate about the intersection of clinical practice and education. My work focuses on designing high-quality learning experiences, fostering student success, and preparing graduates to thrive in complex and evolving professional environments. Through leadership in curriculum innovation and quality enhancement, I am committed to strengthening educational pathways that support the development of competent, confident, and future-ready professionals.
