Consultant, Learning Strategist and Instructional Design

I've spent the last 15+ years in the world of learning and development — designing leadership pipelines, blended curricula, and global training programs for organizations navigating real change.

Technology has always been part of that work, not separate from it. I've led the rollout of new LMS platforms, including Workday, Moodle, and Docebo, and spent as much time in the strategic setup — taxonomy, tagging structures, audiences, learning groups, learning journeys — as I have in the actual content design. My rule of thumb: the system should bend to fit the learner's experience, not the other way around. If someone needs a treasure map to find their own training, we've built it wrong.

I'm also an ICF Associate Certified Coach, which shows up in how I work: I ask a lot of questions, I listen for what's underneath the ask, and I believe the best learning experiences come from genuinely understanding the humans who'll be sitting in them, not just the content they need to cover.

Outside of client work, my husband, our two kids, and I have spent over a decade living aboard Brio II, our beloved 42' sailboat. Since 2019 we've sailed her from the coast of Maine through the turquoise waters of the Bahamas, through the Panama Canal, and up the Central American coast to our home in Vancouver, Canada.

We live by the motto that "life is too short to say later," and that shows up in how I approach both learning design and life. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me with my hands busy — silversmithing, crocheting, writing, or dancing in the kitchen with a toddler on my hip.
