Consultant, Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
I believe meaningful learning begins with strong relationships, curiosity, and a shared commitment to helping every student succeed. As an educator, I enjoy partnering with teachers, student teachers, educational assistants, and school leaders to strengthen curriculum, instruction, assessment, and classroom practice in ways that are practical, sustainable, and fun.
Throughout my career, I have taught across multiple grade levels and taken on a variety of leadership roles, including leading reading and writing initiatives, serving as a Learning Support Teacher, and contributing to my division's Literacy Instructional Support Team. These experiences have strengthened my passion for instructional coaching, collaborative professional learning, and helping educators turn the art and science of teaching into meaningful classroom practice.
When I'm not working, I'm happiest spending time with my husband, our three kids, and our puppies. Summer means days at the lake, time on the water, a round of golf, and evenings around the campfire. Winter usually finds me at the hockey rink. While I'll always cheer for the Edmonton Oilers, nothing beats cheering on my son and daughter as they show off their skills on the ice. I also love lunch dates with family and friends, a competitive game of cards or board games, and settling in with a great book, movie or TV series.
